I’ll Start…Someday.

I’ll start Monday. I’ll start after the holidays. I’ll start New Year’s Day. I’ll start…someday.

There never seems to be a perfect time to start to improve you health, but really the perfect time to start is now. There is no significance to any date on the calendar regarding your health. What is important is that you start, and the sooner the better!

You may be waiting until you have more time, fewer responsibilities, less stress, you fill in the blank. But guess what? The day those things happen may never come (until you die). Life keeps rolling along and time keeps ticking. By putting off getting started you are only wasting precious time, time that could be spent getting better. Part of the process of the change to a healthy lifestyle is to make it fit your unique situation.

The change you make now doesn’t need to be huge; get off the couch, start walking, eliminate some treats, get out in nature. Small changes can lead to bigger changes. Start small and build momentum toward more healthy habits. I guarantee that small changes that make you feel better now will have you wanting to make more changes going forward.

I’ve made a lot of changes to make myself feel healthy, vigorous, and happy, and you can too!
